In a marketing move that some may find a little odd/problem Google is now sending out dummy sets of Glass as part of a new try-on scheme to let you find out how the gadget feels perched on the end of your schnoz, or, perhaps more importantly, so you can decide if you look like a Glass hole before you splash out on the yet-to-launch device.
A number of individuals who’d previously expressed an interest in its high-tech specs, the Mountain View company offered a Glass unit with a set of prescription frames from its recently launched Titanium Collection “to help you find the frame style and Glass color that fits you best before you purchase.”
In a statement, Google confirmed the program and said it would decide at a later date whether to continue with it.
The try before you buy kit features a non functioning Glass device, so instead of being able to use it to take photos,shoot videos listen music handle messages get directions and making phone calls . you`ll instead have to settle with simply putting it on .

Facebook has invaded many facts of our lives, and now it’s reportedly looking to provide financial services.
The social media site is preparing to provide financial services in the form of electronic money, according to the Financial Times. The report states Facebook (FB) is weekly away from getting regulatory approval in Ireland that would allow members to store cash on the website and use it to “pay and exchange” with others.
The Financial Times reports that the move would authorize Facebook to become an “e-money” institution that would allow it to issue units of store monetary value. The money would be valid throughout Europe, also known as “passporting.”
A large amount of Ireland natives/Persons don’t have bank accounts, so if you have to transfer money, Facebook already has your information. Most people have a Facebook account, so this takes the issue out if it.”

Like a hologram from "Star Wars," a 3D picture projected onto a curtain of fog could be the computer screen of the future. The so called "Mistable"Screen allows users to push images and objects on the "screen"around with their hands.

A computer team of scientists will unveil the fog screen at a conference on human computer interfaces, Held on April 26 to May 1 2014.
The screen can display things in 2D or 3D, and allows users to share their content with others.
"Users can be aware of each other's actions and can easily switch between interacting with the personal screen, to the tabletop surface or the interaction section," Subramanian said. "This allows users to break in or out of shared tasks and switch between individual and group work."
